Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at support@mothbear.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 304 N. 9th Ave., Alpena Michigan, 49707.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

1. General Return Window
We offer a 30-day return window for most products. Items purchased on Mothbear.com may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase.
2. Exclusions: Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Coffee Products: Due to their perishable nature, all coffee sales are final.
- Clearance Items: All sales on clearance or marked-down items are final.
- Used or Damaged Items: Products that exhibit signs of use, including stains, dirt, discoloration, damage, or missing original tags.
- Undergarments: Undergarments that have been removed from their sealed original packaging cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
- Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-returnable.
3. Eligibility & Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a full refund, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Unused Condition: The item must be unused, unworn, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
- Original Packaging & Tags: The item must be in its original packaging and have all original tags attached.
- Original Purchaser Only: Returns and refunds are only available to the original purchaser. We require proof of purchase (e.g., order number, receipt) from the original transaction on Mothbear.com to process any return. Items received as gifts or purchased second-hand are not eligible for refunds or exchanges directly from us.
4. Return Process
If your item meets the above criteria, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email support@mothbear.com to initiate the return process and provide your original order details.
- Ship the Item Back: You are responsible for shipping the item back to our facility.
1. We do not offer pre-paid return labels. You must cover the cost of return shipping.
2. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item.

5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (credit card, Shopify Pay, etc.) within a certain number of days (usually 5-10 business days, depending on your bank's processing times).
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.
